I've worked at Game Show Network, SEGA and Warner Bros Games. My first commercial game was one that I designed, built and launched on my own as a kind of special skunkworks project, and it ended up being a massive success with over 500 million in revenue. I presented at GDC about it in 2012.
I currently work at a robotics/AI company. I play games every day and would like to go back into the game industry some day if I can find the right company (ie, one that doesn't treat their employees like garbage).
